Australian Media Consultants Pty (AMC) was formed in 1998 and is a wholly owned Australian company specialising in the production of sports and associated events.

Michael Williams has embraced broadcasting across the world and incorporated administration, host broadcast management, sports production and rights management for the world's premier sporting events including the Olympic Summer and Winter Games, the Commonwealth Games, the Asia Games, the South Pacific Games, World Cup Soccer, Grand Slam tennis championships, the ATP & WTA Tours, Formula One Grand Prix, Horse Racing and International golf.
Michael is the former Head of Sport for the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union, Head of Broadcasting for the Commonwealth Games, Host Broadcaster for the South Pacific Games and Head of Production/Executive Producer with the Nine Network Australia. More recently he was appointed as Broadcast Consultant/Executive Producer to the International Rugby Board in the Asia Pacific region, Director of Broadcasting for the Pacific Games Council and Broadcast Consultant to both CCTV5 in Beijing and CH3 in Bangkok on Host Broadcasting and production.
Director of Production
Our Director of Production, Peter Williams brings a wealth of experience to AMC. In 17 years at Channel Nine heading up Wide World of Sports programmes and elite events such as Formula 1 Grand Prix, Moto Grand Prix and Indy Car races on the Gold Coast, Peter has accrued an unbeatable track record of world class sports production and light entertainment program development. His international experience includes several summer and winter Olympic broadcasts, an association he continues today as a consultant to the International Olympic Federation.
To top off an enviable career, Peter also has a decade of sports news production for ESPN. Recently leaving his position as Head of Sport and Light Entertainment at FremantleMedia Sydney, we are proud to welcome Peter to AMC.
Specialist Director
Senior director Tim Finlay brings a wealth of sporting and entertainment experience to AMC. He is undoubtedly one of Australia's most accomplished and versatile directors of live events with a career encompassing a host of major events including the Melbourne Commonwealth Games, international test cricket, the Indian Premier League and the 2010 IPL Finals (in 3D) plus an unsurpassed 5 years directing the Australian F1 Grand Prix, the Philip Island Motorcycle Grand Prix and the 2 litre Touring Cars.
Tim is no stranger to live entertainment either directing Big Brother, I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here and the Opening Ceremonies of the West Asian Games in Pakistan, the 2007/8 ICL Cricket and the 2009/10 IPL cricket.
